Introduction to Skateboarding

Young people can join any Monday.

The workshop will cover: balance, starting to move and turn, confidence on the board, introduction to ramps, simple tricks, and advanced tricks! N.B. You will need to be an associate member of Heatham House if you are in Year 8.

Participants will look at a number of different rap styles, to learn the basics to perform as an MC, including writing, rhyming, and freestyle. All standards and styles are welcome.

Live Music Workshop

The workshop will give anyone who’s interested in improving their playing skills an opportunity to perform; to get together with other singers and musicians, to share and improve their skills, and have some fun. People of all standards are welcome, particularly beginners, and all styles of music. At the end of the six-week course, there will be an opportunity to perform. Singers, solo artists and bands welcome.

Covering the basic elements of video production; camera, sound and lighting, and an introduction to editing to provide participants with the skills, technical knowledge and understanding to create their own video productions. Concise tutorials and entertaining practical exercises will demonstrate the requirements for a successful shoot. Why not shoot a band video and put in on your website!

Introduction to Midi Production
